Start from a README or meeting-notes template, and restore any earlier version of a document from automatic snapshots.

Start from a template

  1. Open Documents and choose Start new.
  2. Pick Blank, or one of the templates — README, meeting notes, blog post, and more.
  3. The template drops in ready-to-edit placeholder structure — headings, lists, and links you replace with your own words.

Version history

The editor takes automatic snapshots of your document as you work — no setup needed.

Restore an earlier version

  1. Open the history panel from the header.
  2. Browse snapshots by time.
  3. Click Restore on the one you want.
  4. The restored text lands in your editor — save it to keep it.

Restoring never destroys anything: the snapshot replaces your editor content, but it only becomes permanent when you save. Change your mind? Restore a different snapshot.

Good to know

  • Snapshots are stored on your device, like everything else.
  • Each document keeps its own history.
  • A snapshot is taken when meaningful changes accumulate — you don't get spammed with one per keystroke.

Terms and Refunds

One-Time Contribution

When you contribute to Mystery Rank, it's a one-time payment that secures your spot in the credits. Once the payment is made, it's final, there are no refunds or changes. We keep the process fair and transparent for everyone involved.

How Your Rank is Determined

Your rank within your chosen category is based on how much you contribute. The more you contribute, the higher your rank. However, the amounts remain private, adding mystery and excitement to the competition.

When Your Credit Appears

After your payment is confirmed, your credit will be posted within 12 hours. We work hard to ensure everyone's contributions are recognized promptly. If there's a delay, we'll keep you informed.

Handling Chargebacks

If a chargeback occurs, your credit will be immediately removed and you'll be blocked from future participation. We do this to protect the integrity of the rankings and ensure fairness for all contributors.

Updating Your Listing or Link

If you need to update your listing or link after it's been posted, send us an email at [email protected] . We're happy to make one-time updates to ensure your information is correct.
